A Message From The Director
It brings me immense joy to extend a warm welcome to everyone at
Millia Institute of Technology, Rambagh, Purnea.
Established in 2002, the college was founded with the vision
of fulfilling the growing demand for quality technical education.
It proudly became the first private engineering institution in the
Seemanchal Region and has since grown into a respected institution
with thousands of successful alumni.
The idea of establishing educational institutions first took root
during my early years while I was practicing as a Homeopathic
Doctor. During my childhood, my late father,
Md. Atique Imam, often reminded me that most creations fade
within three generations. His inspiring words motivated me to build
something that would continue serving society for generations to
come.
In search of this dream, I visited some of India's most prestigious
universities including BHU, AMU, Jamia Millia Islamia,
Delhi University, and Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU).
I realized that while founders may pass away, their institutions
continue to thrive through their values and alumni across the world.
This realization inspired the establishment of the
Millia Educational Trust (MET) in 1983.
In the same year, I married my beloved wife,
Mrs. Shabana Perween, whose patience, encouragement and
unwavering support became the strongest pillar of my journey.
Together, with hard work, determination and the blessings of the
Almighty, we transformed a vision into reality.
Today, Millia Educational Trust has grown into a family of
22+ educational institutions, including schools and colleges,
serving thousands of students across the region. Our journey
continues with the vision of establishing
Millia University and the
Millia Institute of Medical Science to provide world-class
education and healthcare facilities.
I sincerely thank the Almighty, the people of Purnea, our faculty,
students, alumni and every stakeholder who has placed their trust
in us. Their support has made every milestone possible and inspires
us to strive for greater heights.
I encourage every student to build confidence, develop strong
character, embrace challenges and learn from mistakes. Success
belongs to those who remain determined, take responsibility for
their decisions and continuously improve themselves. I am confident
that our future achievements will be even greater than our past.
Here's to a journey of growth, resilience and making a positive
impact on the lives of others.
